...biomanufacturing and single use are becoming synonymous. Single use found fame in R&D and is now working its way through to clinical manufacturing with a view to dominating commercial manufacturing scales. However, efficiency savings still need to be maintained.
5 years ago, Pharma IQ held the first European single use biomanufacturing meeting in London with just over 30 participants and 4 sponsors. Today the annual event exceeds 120 participants and 16 cutting edge single use provider sponsors, making it Europe’s largest and only event dedicated to single use biomanufacturing. Perhaps the expression ‘first to market’ holds true here.
As such, people have come to rely on the annual February event to get up to speed with industry developments, regulations and technological innovations in this growing and fast moving sector.
The 2013 event will be taking place on the 26th-27th February– take advantage of our early bird discount and register now so you don’t miss out!

An overview by Arnaud Schmutz, General Manager, Sourcin
Pharma IQ’s 4th annual Disposable Solutions for Biomanufacturing was held in Brussels at the end of February and provided a vibrant networking platform, as well as informative content on the latest technological and strategic developments across the single use industry. Sourcin supported the event and we hosted a breakout roundtable group to introduce the concept of mediabooks in facilitating single use implementation, the session was entitled “Deploying Single Use Systems in Production: watch it and do it”.
